Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates Ltd. is seeking a Registered Manager to lead the Midlands fostering service. You will be registered with OFSTED and join a small growing team, working alongside the current registered manager in a combined capacity.

• Significant experience in a fostering service within a management capacity.
• Management qualification ideally; experience with Independent Fostering Agency or Charity.
• Diploma/Degree in Social Work; right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship); OFSTED registration will be arranged.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Midlands fostering service as Registered Manager.
• Collaborate with the current registered manager while taking on leadership duties.
• Be prepared to come into the Birmingham office occasionally to manage operations.

Registered Manager for this organisation's fostering service covering the Midlands.

You will be registered with OFSTED but do not need to have been a Registered Manager previously to be considered.

About the team

This small organisation's Fostering service is growing and developing in the Midlands area. It is a small team currently with plenty of prospective carers enquiring about becoming foster carers with them. The current registered manager will continue to work with this organisation alongside you but in a different capacity.

About you

The successful candidate will have significant experience of working in a Fostering service within a management capacity (with a management qualification ideally) preferably with an Independent Fostering Agency or Charity. You will need to be prepared to be prepared to come into the office occasionally in Birmingham. You will need to keen to help grow and develop this organisation in what is an exciting opportunity.
