Job summary

Right at Home Bromsgrove, Redditch & Droitwich is seeking a dependable Registered Manager to lead and develop the care and office teams while ensuring regulatory compliance. You will drive operational performance, maintain Good CQC standards and manage scheduling, training, and audits.

The role requires strong people management, attention to detail and strategic focus to grow the business within commercial targets. Full-time, UK-wide flexibility offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 4 (RMA) or QCF Level 5 in Social Care.
• In-depth understanding of CQC assessment criteria.
• Management experience of service provision in care.
• Experience in managing people and teams.
• Right to Work in the UK full-time.
• UK/EU driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, management and top-level support to the Team.
• Achieve high compliance, targeting at least a Good CQC inspection.
• Oversee Health & Safety for staff and clients; ensure safe environments.
• Review processes and practices for continuous improvement.
• Recruitment strategy and recruitment of care assistants.
• Implement training and induction; maintain training records.
• Oversee staff rota and scheduling to ensure care calls coverage.
• Conduct checks, service reviews, audits and risk assessments.
• Participate in on-call rota and report KPIs to the Director.
• Help the business grow sustainably within commercial targets.

Your main duties and responsibilities

• Provide leadership, management and the highest level of support to the Team
• Ownership of achieving the highest levels of compliance ensuring they achieve a minimum of a Good CQC inspection.
• Accountable for the Health & Safety of staff and clients; ensuring provision of safe working environments.
• Continued critical review of processes and practice
• Ensure sufficient activity and strategy for the recruitment and recruitment of care assistants.
• Implementation of training and induction and maintain training records.
• Oversee staff rota and scheduling to safeguard cover of all care calls
• Undertake Care Assistant and Client checks, service reviews, internal audits, annual surveys, risk assessments and support plans
• Participate in on-call rota.
• Record Key Performance Indicators and report to the Director
• To be a key figure in ensuring the business grows sustainably and within commercial targets.

What qualifications and experience do you need?

• Hold, or be working towards, an NVQ Level 4 (RMA) or QCF Level 5 qualification in Social Care
• In depth understanding of CQC assessment criteria for Good and Outstanding scores
• Management experience of service provision in the care industry
• Experience in managing people and teams
• Right to Work full-time in the UK
• UK/ EU driving licence
