Where you will be working

The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a children's residential setting, overseeing the smooth operation of the home to ensure a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for all residents. This role involves balancing the immediate needs of the young people with long-term goals to achieve positive outcomes, always prioritising the safety and well-being of the young people.

What makes you the ideal candidate

• You are committed, driven, have person-centred values, and want to make a difference to the lives of young people.
• You hold an NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent, and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children & Young People (the latter could be pursued if not yet obtained).
• You have considerable management experience working with young people in a residential setting.
• You are a dedicated and compassionate leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
