Job summary

S.N.G HEALTHCARE LIMITED is seeking a Registered Manager to lead a Children’s Residential Home in Totton/Southampton. You will manage the care team and ensure high standards of childcare in line with the Statement of Purpose.

The role focuses on creating a safe, supportive environment for children and young people to achieve positive outcomes, with leadership responsibilities and a commitment to safeguarding and team development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in children’s residential care.
• Experience in a senior or management position within residential childcare.
• Passionate, confident and committed approach to supporting children and young people.
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK without sponsorship.

Hours: Full Time

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will provide strong leadership and management to a dedicated residential care team, ensuring the delivery of excellent childcare provision in line with the home’s Statement of Purpose.

You will be responsible for creating a safe, warm and stable environment where children and young people feel valued, supported and able to achieve positive outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a children’s residential care setting.
• Previous experience in a senior or management position within residential childcare.
• Passionate, confident and committed approach to supporting children and young people.
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills.
• NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or currently working towards) or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK without s p o n s o r s h i p
