Job summary

Oxfordshire County Council is seeking a Registered Manager to lead new Children's Homes opening in 2026, delivering safe, nurturing environments where children can thrive within the Oxfordshire framework. You will work with our leadership team to implement restorative, relational practice and ensure high standards of care.

With experience in residential childcare, you will supervise staff, develop integrated interventions, and drive positive outcomes for children and families, while contributing

Qualifications

• Experience in residential childcare within last five years.
• Supervising and managing staff in a residential setting.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for children's homes.
• Willingness to work towards the Level 5 Diploma within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of new Oxfordshire Children's Homes opening in 2026.
• Deliver integrated, individualised interventions to promote best outcomes for children and families.
• Supervise and support staff to ensure high-quality care and regulatory compliance.
