Job summary

4Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a Registered Manager for Children’s Homes in West Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire. The role offers £500 per day and an opportunity to lead new homes opening in 2026, with support from a strong leadership team to create safe, nurturing environments for children.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in residential childcare within the last five years, plus at least 1 year in staff supervision, and holds a Level 5 Diploma or is willing to obtain it within 18 months.

Qualifications

Minimum two years' experience in the last five years in residential childcare.
At least one year supervising and managing staff in a care setting.
Level 5 Diploma or willingness to complete within 18 months.
Level 2 Maths and English qualifications (GCSE or equivalent).
Extensive experience supervising staff in care.
Strong knowledge of childcare legislation and regulations (e.g., Working Together to Safeguard Children 2015).
Knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
Understanding of government policy on residential care.
Experience managing budgets and financial resources.
Understanding of health and safety legislation and risk management.
