4Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a Registered Manager to lead newly opening Children’s Homes in 2026 in West Oxfordshire, offering £500 per day. The role demands a strong leader who can create safe, nurturing environments while aligning with safeguarding and regulatory standards.

You will oversee staff, ensure high-quality care, manage budgets, and implement compliant practices across homes, developing innovative approaches within government guidance for children’s residential care.

Formación

• A minimum of two years’ experience within the last five years working in a residential childcare setting.
• At least one year of experience supervising and managing staff in a residential childcare setting.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England), or equivalent, or be willing to undertake and complete this within the first 18 months of employment.
• Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English, or equivalent (GCSE Grade C / Grade 4).
• Extensive experience supervising and managing staff working in a care role.
• Excellent working knowledge of childcare legislation, guidance and regulations, including Working Together to Safeguard Children 2015.
• Excellent working knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
• Detailed understanding of government policy agenda and emerging proposals for the future of children’s residential care.
• Experience of managing budgets and an understanding of the financial management of resources.
• Understanding of health and safety legislation relating to residential homes, including risk assessments and risk management planning.
