Job summary

Break Charity is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Children's Manager to lead one of our Break Solo Homes in Mundesley. The role may also suit an experienced Children's Deputy Manager ready to step up.

As Registered Manager you will lead and develop a trauma-informed, child-centred team, provide reflective supervision and annual appraisals, and work in partnership with children, families and external agencies to achieve the best outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered Children's Manager with social care oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Break Solo Children's Home team using trauma-informed, child-centred care.
• Provide reflective supervision, guidance and annual appraisals to staff.
• Work in partnership with children, families and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
• Collaborate with Break's Therapeutic Team to embed trauma-informed care and access clinical supervision.
• Support smooth transitions with Break's Staying Connected service.

Job description

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Children's Manager to lead one of our Solo homes in Mundesley. This role would also suit a highly experienced Children's Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in their career.

As the Registered Manager of one of our Break Solo Children's Home you will:

• Lead and develop a team using your experience and Break's model of trauma-informed, child-centred care that underpins everything we do.
• Provide effective support to staff, including reflective supervision, guidance and annual appraisals, using Break's extensive specialist workforce training programmes to grow and develop your team.
• Work in partnership with children and young people, their families and friends, other colleagues and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child.
• Collaborate with Break's Therapeutic Team who provide advice, tools and support to embed trauma-informed nurturing care. You'll also have the opportunity to access regular clinical supervision.
• Work collaboratively with Break's Staying Connected service to support smooth transitions when young people leave care, benefiting from our lifelong commitment to them.

Salary: £43,476 - £45,107 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)

Max job rate: £46,709 (performance related)

Hours: 37 hours per week
