Job summary

Additional Resources Ltd is seeking a Registered Manager / Deputy Manager to lead a children’s residential home in the UK. This full-time role focuses on maintaining high care standards and effective day-to-day management.

We are looking for candidates with residential care leadership, DBS clearance, a full UK driving licence, and availability on weekends and evenings; the salary ranges from £55,000 to £75,000 with a potential bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Approx 5 years in residential care, including 2 years in a management role within a children's setting.
• Experience managing residential homes for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
• QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management in Children's Residential Care or equivalent.
• Be able to work over the weekends and evenings.
• An enhanced DBS check and a full UK driving licence.
• The right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the children's residential home and day-to-day management.
• Ensure high care standards and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and develop the care team and maintain safeguarding practices.
• Coordinate weekend and evening operational needs as required.
