About the Opportunity
Leader Recruitment Group is excited to collaborate with a respected provider to recruit a dynamic Children's Home Manager for a 4-bed residential home in Hatfield, specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated team, deliver outstanding care, and shape the lives of young people in a nurturing, therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the home's operations, ensuring exceptional care and compliance with Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations.
Drive strategic planning and service development to achieve outstanding outcomes for young people.
Lead, mentor, and train staff, overseeing work patterns, appraisals, and QCF Level 3 care-focused training.
Foster trusting relationships with children to support their emotional growth and recovery.
Act as a positive role model, creating a safe and supportive environment for both staff and young people.
Oversee budgets, financial performance, and safeguarding to maintain high standards.
Collaborate with external professionals to promote the well-being of young people.
About You
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior role within a children's residential setting.
Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People's Workforce; achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People's Management).
Strong understanding of The Children Act 1989, Children's Homes Regulations, and safeguarding protocols.
Proven experience in budget and financial management.
Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility for on-call duties.
A proactive, enthusiastic leader with a hands-on approach to people management.
A track record of delivering high Ofsted ratings.
