Registered Manager - Children's Home

Our client is looking to appoint a Children's Home Registered Manager who is:

• Innovative, inspirational, and a positive role model to staff teams and young people

Candidates should have:

• At least two years of experience working in a children’s home within the last five years
• At least one year in a supervisory or management role in a children’s home
• Experience working with individuals with moderate to severe learning disabilities, autistic spectrum conditions, significant physical impairments, and/or complex health needs
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent, or willingness to start within three months of appointment

Salary: Starting at £45,365 per annum, increasing to £52,750 after probation and upon obtaining the Level 5 qualification. A generous relocation package is also offered to support the right candidate.

Children’s Homes

Located in Bolton, our client’s Children’s Homes are homely environments designed to meet the individual physical and sensory needs of children with disabilities and complex health needs, including Autism Spectrum Conditions. Each home accommodates up to four young people, fostering a life-principle environment supervised by a dedicated and trained staff team. The homes promote positive activities, encouraging children and young people to engage in sports, activities, and interests during evenings and weekends.

Main Duties

• Promote the welfare and protection of children and young people
• Ensure compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Framework
• Register and manage the designated children’s home
• Manage and supervise a team of Support Workers
• Ensure adherence to legislation and policies, creating safe and nurturing placements
• Provide responsive assessments and interventions within statutory and organizational guidelines
