Nurturing Growth & Compassionate Care Ltd in London is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a brand new children's residential home. You will oversee safeguarding, care planning, staff management and regulatory compliance to ensure high-quality care for looked-after children.

The role requires a Level 5 Diploma and proven management experience in residential childcare, with strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations.

Qualificações

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
• Previous experience managing a children's residential home.
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children's home legislation.
• Experience supporting children with EBD and complex needs.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, care planning, compliance and quality assurance.
• Ability to lead, manage and develop a team.
• Prepared to change working patterns and support in emergency staffing situations.
• Sound working knowledge of statutory requirements related to children's residential care.
• Understanding the education, health, social, emotional and psychological needs of looked-after children.

Children's residential home and are looking for an experienced

Registered Manager

to lead the service on a permanent basis.

You will provide residential care and support for Children and Young People who are not able to continue living in their current environment for a number of different reasons.

As Registered Manager, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, working closely with the Responsible Individual and wider leadership team.

You'll help shape the service, build a strong team and ensure the home provides a safe, supportive environment that meets the needs of the young people.You'll provide leadership across safeguarding, care planning, staff management, compliance and quality assurance, while ensuring the home is prepared to meet and maintain Ofsted standards.Build positive relationships with children, families, professionals, and external agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes and promote independence.Ensuring children receive high quality, individualised care and supportManaging staffing, rotas, budgets and the day to day operation of the serviceThe post holder will also have a sound understanding of ensuring that Health and Safety Regulations are followed at all times.Ensure the home's ethos is embedded in the shifts and that children are involved in the day-to-day running of the service.Take responsibility for overseeing safeguarding children and supporting the team to reduce the risks.Ensure care planning, key working, safeguarding, incidents, health, education and activities recording is completed in the required timeframe and to the required standard.Ensure that Care Reviews Reports are prepared in advance and that Children are prepared and supported during the review process.You will be responsible for the administration of related financial management, ensuring that budgets are maintained and that any overspends are identified as soon as possible.
