Job summary

Swanton Community Services in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and lead a compassionate, person-centred service.

You will develop high-performing teams, drive continuous improvement, and build strong partnerships with families, professionals and commissioners while upholding CQC standards and delivering outstanding outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 4 NVQ in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Registration with CQC or eligible applicant.
• Experience in health and social care leadership.

About The Role

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead our established service in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who is committed to delivering outstanding care, developing high-performing teams, and driving positive outcomes for the people we support.

About the Role

As Registered Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring it operates safely, effectively and in line with CQC standards.

Working closely with colleagues, families, professionals and stakeholders, you'll create an environment where both the people we support and your team can thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing a dedicated team

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a proactive and compassionate leader who shares our values and is passionate about making a difference.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum Level 4 NVQ in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)


• Previous registration with CQC


• At least 3 years' management experience within health and social care


• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism


• Strong leadership, communication and people management skills


• Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and best practice


• Experience of delivering positive service outcomes


• Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships


• Flexible approach to work, including participation in the on-call rota


• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance

Desirable

• Multi-site management experience


• Knowledge of IT and rota management systems
