Swanton Care is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to oversee a service in Barnsley, consisting of one residential home and a group of supported living homes. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of the people we support while leading dedicated teams across multiple services and driving high-quality, person-centred care.
About the Role
As our Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and performance of one residential home and a set of supported living homes, ensuring the highest standards of care, support, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance are maintained at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing effective leadership across both residential and supported living services.
- Leading, developing, and supporting high-performing teams.
- Ensuring all services are compliant with CQC regulations and quality standards.
- Promoting positive outcomes, choice, independence, and person-centred support.
- Managing budgets, resources, occupancy, and service performance effectively.
- Driving continuous improvement and maintaining excellent care standards.
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure outstanding service delivery.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- At least 2 years' experience managing within a Supported Living environment.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience supervising and managing care staff.
- A strong understanding of CQC regulations, Quality Standards, and inspection processes.
- A commitment to achieving (or already holding) a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or equivalent.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
The successful candidate will be required to register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and complete an enhanced DBS check along with satisfactory references and pre-employment checks.
