Charles Hunter Associates Ltd is seeking a Registered Manager for an established adult learning disabilities service in South Shields. You will take overall responsibility for delivering high-quality, person-centred care, ensuring compliance with CQC requirements and leading the care team.

We offer a £40,000 base salary with a £5,000 uplift after successful CQC registration, a management performance bonus, training and progression opportunities, and a supportive environment that rewards strong

Qualifications

• Experience managing an adult social care service
• Experience supporting adults with learning and/or physical disabilities
• Strong knowledge of the CQC framework
• Proven leadership and staff management experience
• Experience improving service quality and outcomes
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Level 5 Adult Social Care Management qualification, or willingness/eligibility to complete it
• Deputy Managers with strong operational experience who are ready to take their first Registered Manager position are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the management and care team
• Ensure high-quality, person-centred support
• Oversee the day-to-day operational running of the service
• Manage staffing, budgets and resources effectively
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and legislation
• Monitor audits, quality, safeguarding and service performance
• Develop and improve the service and outcomes for the people supported
• Supervise and support Deputy Managers, Team Leaders and Senior Support Workers
• Promote best practice and a positive team culture
