Job summary

Diamond Search Recruitment Ltd is partnering with an 18-bed adult social care service in South Shields to appoint an experienced Registered Manager. The role focuses on person-centred care, independence and achieving positive outcomes for adults with disabilities.

The successful candidate will lead a team, ensure regulatory compliance with CQC, manage budgets and drive continuous service improvement, while developing managers and staff to deliver excellent care.

Qualifications

• Experience in adult social care management.
• In-depth knowledge of CQC and regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting adults with learning and/or physical disabilities.
• Proven leadership and team-management experience.
• Excellent organisation, communication and financial management skills.
• Level 5 Adult Management qualification (or willing to complete it).

Responsibilities

• Leading, motivating and developing the staff team.
• Ensuring high-quality, person-centred support.
• Managing staffing, budgets and resources.
• Ensuring compliance with CQC requirements and relevant legislation.
• Driving service improvement and positive outcomes.
• Supporting and developing Team Leaders and senior staff.
• Acting as a strong role model for best practice.
