Dove Adolescent Services seeks a Registered Manager for a brand-new 4-bed children's home in Doncaster. You will have overall accountability for day-to-day management, ensuring high-quality care and safeguarding for young people.

The role includes on-call duties and leadership of a care team. The position requires a relevant qualification (Diploma level 5 or equivalent) and experience in management, with a focus on care standards, budgeting, and external liaison.

Qualifications

• Diploma Level 5 or equivalent; willing to work towards higher qualifications if required.
• Experience managing a team of care staff.
• Comprehensive knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
• Strong administration and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of care workers in line with legislation and policy to achieve positive outcomes for young people.
• Oversee admissions and discharges, maintain safeguarding standards, and chair meetings.
• Manage service budget and financial resources to meet targets.
• Liaise with external agencies and commissioners to support service delivery.
• Coordinate HR tasks including recruitment, induction, supervision, and appraisal.
