Job summary

Wise Monkey Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced CQC Registered Manager in Tonbridge to lead quality, safeguarding and regulatory compliance. This role focuses on ensuring safe, high‑quality care while supporting clinical governance across live‑in care and nursing elements.

You will manage regulatory obligations, investigations, incidents, complaints and statutory notifications, with authority to challenge and act when safety is at risk.

Qualifications

• Experience as a CQC-registered manager in adult social care.
• Proven track record of compliant regulatory outcomes.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, CQC regs, MCA and duty of candour.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CQC registration and regulatory compliance for two activities.
• Lead safeguarding investigations, incidents, complaints and statutory notifications.
• Oversee quality audits, actions and continuous improvement.

Are you an experienced CQC Registered Manager who wants to focus on quality, safeguarding and making a genuine difference to people's lives, without the pressures of running the entire day-to-day operation?

This is an opportunity to join an established, family-owned provider of live-in care and live-in nursing, where your professional judgement will be valued and your decisions will make a real difference.

Working alongside dedicated operational, nursing and compliance colleagues, you'll take the lead on regulatory compliance, safeguarding, quality assurance and complex care decisions, with the authority to challenge and act whenever safety is at risk.

Key responsibilities

• Maintaining CQC registration and regulatory compliance across two regulated activities.
• Leading safeguarding, incident investigations, complaints and statutory notifications.
• Overseeing quality, audits, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Providing regulatory oversight of complex care packages and clinical practice.
• Working collaboratively with senior colleagues and external healthcare professionals.

What we're looking for

• Previous Registered Manager experience in a CQC-regulated adult social care service.
• A track record of good or outstanding regulatory outcomes.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, CQC regulations, the Mental Capacity Act and duty of candour.
• Confidence in making independent decisions and holding others accountable.
• Experience in live-in care, care for older people at home or services with a nursing element would be advantageous.

The details

Based in Tonbridge, with travel across the South and South East. Shared management on-call rota. CQC registration required for both regulated activities. Monday to Friday.
