Job summary

UK Care Consultancy Ltd on behalf of a well-established Nursing Home in Clacton is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead all aspects of day-to-day operations and deliver person-centred care. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years in nursing home management, be a qualified nurse with NMC registration, and possess strong leadership, governance and regulatory compliance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience managing a nursing home.
• Qualified nurse with strong leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, clinical governance and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of the nursing home and ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements and all relevant legislation.
• Oversee clinical governance, audits, risk management and quality assurance processes.
• Manage staff recruitment, induction, training, supervision and performance.
• Ensure safe medication management and effective clinical practices throughout the home.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
• Monitor occupancy, quality outcomes and service performance to support the home's success.
• Investigate incidents, complaints and safeguarding concerns, implementing actions to improve services.
• Promote a positive, inclusive culture for residents and colleagues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve high standards of care.
