Job summary

Salutem Care & Education’s New Ridley service in Northumberland seeks a Registered Manager to lead operations for a 9-bed service supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex care needs. You will oversee staffing, budgeting and regulatory compliance to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

You will join a supportive team, require QCF Level 5 Adult Management Diploma or equivalent, and demonstrate strong leadership, administrative and financial skills.

Qualifications

• QCF Level 5 Adult Management Diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to complete Level 5 Diploma.
• Experience in social care management and CQC framework.
• Knowledge of Health & Social Services regulations.
• Excellent administrative and financial skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support delivery of person-centred services within your defined area.
• Ensure effective financial administration through staff deployment and budgets.
• Oversee the overall operation of the services and staff allocation.

About The Company

The New Ridley family are recruiting!

New Ridley is a 9-bed residential care home in Northumberland supporting adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism and complex care needs to live full and active lives.

The individuals we support at New Ridley love all things music and are often singing on the karaoke machine or dancing away to new and old music! They love BBQ's in summer and they often visit other services to meet with friends and enjoy food together! They love celebrating birthday's and are a very sociable bunch. They love trips to Museum's and going on walks together to enjoy the sights and sounds! They often take trips to Whitley Bay to enjoy lunch and of course ice cream!

We are often highly praised for all our hard work, none of our efforts ever go a miss. We all work together to ensure all of the individuals we support get the best level of care and get to live a life they truly enjoy! About The Role

Job Scope

The role of the Registered Manager has the overall operational responsibility of the service or services ensuring the smooth running and the allocation and management of staff. You will be responsible for the delivery of excellent operational services within your area, regularly supervising Deputy Managers, Team Leaders and/or Senior Support Workers.

You will be responsible for:

• To monitor and support the delivery of person centred services to all people using our service within your defined area.
• To ensure effective financial administration of the services delivered, through the effective deployment of staff and budgets
• The overall operation of the services ensuring the smooth running and the allocation and management of staff
• The delivery of excellent operational services, regularly supervising the Team Leaders
• Ensuring the effective and efficient provision of support to the people using the services
• You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent administrative skills and be able to organise and priorities your workload whilst being financially astute
• You will need to be experienced in social care management and CQC Framework and will possess excellent knowledge of Health & Social Services and applicable regulations/legislation.
• You will have experience of motivating and enabling a staff team to achieve good outcomes in partnership with the people we support, and with an emphasis on role modelling best practice in a care environment
• You will have a proven track record of improving and developing services for people with disabilities.
• Above all, you should be as approachable, as reliable and as dedicated as we are, and you'll be poised to hit the ground 'sprinting'

Professional Qualifications

You will join us with a QCF Level 5 Adult Management Diploma, or equivalent qualification, or be eligible to complete the Level 5 Diploma
