Role Description

Join Our Team as a PBS Registered Manager

Location: Maidstone, Sittingbourne & Herne Bay, Kent
Salary:£47,150 per annum plus benefits.
Hours:37.5 hours per week, on-call rota, additional hours to meet service requirements.
Contract:Full-time, permanent
Driving Requirement:A valid full UK driving license is essential.
Right to Work:Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any skilled worker visas.

About You
We are seeking an exceptional PBS Registered Manager to lead our supported living services in Kent, with a strong commitment to high-quality, personalised support.
In this role, you will oversee the efficient operation of our homes, ensuring that our services align with the organisation's core values and mission. Your leadership will be characterised by resilience, effective communication, and a drive for excellence, all aimed at promoting independence and skill development among those we support.

You will be instrumental in fostering creativity and implementing innovative strategies to enhance social inclusion and community involvement, making a significant impact in the lives of the people we support.

  • You will do whatever is required to help and encourage the people you support to take control of their own lives.
  • You will support others to be brave and unlock their own talents and that of others, creating a truly person-centred culture.
  • You will do what is right to deliver a safe, compliant service that fully engages and trains employees who want to push the boundaries to achieve extraordinary outcomes.
  • Knowledgeable of National policy and best practice for services supporting people with learning disabilities and autism
  • Lead on the recruitment of support teams.
  • A deep understanding of regulatory standards for supported living
  • Up to date knowledge of Health and safety legislation
  • PBS background and experience essential
  • You will have amazing communication skills that inspire and motivates those around you.
  • Support to develop new single person services as part of an MDT approach on the PBS framework.
  • Ensure that transition plans are in place.
  • You will work closely with the PBS consultant to ensure that all support is tailored to the person and that support staff are appropriately trained, supported, and coached.
To be considered for the role of thePBSRegisteredManager, we are looking for an experienced individual within a managerial role. You will need to have an NVQ Level 5 Health and Social Care or equivalent or be willing to work towards and have a background and/or qualification in PBS or a willingness to learn and a full UK driving license.
