Job summary

Liaise is seeking a proactive Registered Manager to oversee two care homes in the United Kingdom, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support and strong governance across both services.

You will lead staff teams, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with CQC requirements and relevant legislation, while maintaining safe, effective operations and excellent records.

Qualifications

  • A relevant Health & Social Care management qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and current health and social care legislation.
  • Experience managing a health and social care service.
  • Experience overseeing multiple services or teams is desirable.
  • Experience working with Local Authorities and external professionals.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and service operations.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management and operation of two homes.
  • Lead, manage and support the staff teams across both services.
  • Ensure high-quality, person-centred care and support is consistently delivered across both homes.
  • Ensure care documentation, risk assessments and reviews are up to date.
  • Monitor wellbeing of the people we support and ensure appropriate support is in place.
  • Ensure services comply with CQC requirements and Liaise policies.
  • Lead safeguarding and manage concerns appropriately.
  • Collaborate with families, Local Authorities, Social Services and professionals.
  • Manage budgets and resources across both services.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete audits and checks.
  • Supervise, support and develop staff through accountable performance management.
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards.
  • Liaise with CQC and external agencies as required.
  • Work flexibly across both services, including spot checks and providing management support.

Job description

As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the management and delivery of high-quality care and support across two of our homes.

You will oversee the day-to-day running of both services, leading and supporting the staff teams and ensuring that both homes maintain high standards of person-centred care. You will be responsible for ensuring both services operate safely and effectively and remain compliant with CQC requirements, relevant legislation and Liaise policies and procedures.

The role will require you to work flexibly across both homes, providing a strong management presence and ensuring consistency in the quality of support provided.

Key Duties
  • Oversee the day-to-day management and operation of both homes.
  • Lead, manage and support the staff teams across both services.

  • Ensure support plans, risk assessments and other care documentation are accurate, up to date and regularly reviewed.
  • Monitor the needs and wellbeing of the people we support and ensure appropriate support is in place.
  • Ensure both homes remain compliant with CQC requirements, relevant legislation and Liaise policies and procedures.
  • Take responsibility for safeguarding and ensure any concerns are identified and managed appropriately.
  • Work closely with the people we support, their families, Local Authorities, Social Services and other professionals.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively across both services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and ensure appropriate audits and checks are completed.
  • Lead and develop staff through supervision, support and performance management.
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards across both homes.
  • Liaise with CQC and other external agencies as required.
  • Work flexibly across both services, including carrying out spot checks and providing management support when required.
What We Are Looking For
  • A relevant Health & Social Care and/or management qualification, or equivalent.
  • A strong understanding of CQC requirements and current health and social care legislation.
  • Previous experience of managing a health and social care service.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a management role within health and social care, with experience of overseeing multiple services or teams desirable
  • Experience of working with Social Services, Local Authorities and other external professionals.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • The ability to manage budgets and the operational requirements of a service.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
  • A full UK Driving Licence is desirable.
