Job description

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Registered Manager for a private client in Northwest London.

In this role, you will lead a dedicated team to create a safe, nurturing, and empowering home environment where young people can heal, grow, and thrive.

Key Duties:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and Children's Homes Regulations.
• Provide strong, trauma-informed leadership to staff, supporting their development through supervision, training, and performance management.
• Oversee high-quality care planning, safeguarding, and support for each young person, ensuring their needs and outcomes are central to practice.
• Build effective partnerships with local authorities, families, and professionals to deliver coordinated, child-focused care.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

• Proven experience managing or deputising in a children's residential home, with a strong understanding of care regulations and Ofsted standards.
• Track record of leading teams, including staff supervision, performance management, and fostering a positive team culture.
• Hands-on experience in safeguarding, risk management, and delivering trauma-informed care for children and young people with complex needs.
• Strong multi-agency working experience, including liaising with local authorities, social workers, and external professionals.
