A leading organization in social care is hiring a Registered Manager for a newly established therapeutic children's home in Beckenham. This key position involves ensuring compliance with Ofsted, developing a care team, and delivering high standards of care to children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. Ideal candidates should possess leadership skills and a Level 5 Diploma in Childcare Management, alongside a commitment to child-centred practice.
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a newly established therapeutic children's home in Beckenham, supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a new service from the ground up driving the home s registration, developing a dedicated care team, and ensuring the highest standards of therapeutic and trauma-informed care.
Key Responsibilities
Lead on the registration of the home with Ofsted and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements

Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and structured environment
Recruit, manage and develop a high-performing residential care team
Implement and monitor individual care plans in line with each child s emotional, social, and developmental needs
Liaise effectively with local authorities, healthcare professionals, families, and partner agencies
Promote a culture of safeguarding, therapeutic support, and continuous improvement
Essential Criteria
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Minimum of 2 years experience in a managerial or deputy managerial role within a children s residential EBD setting
Proven knowledge of Children s Homes (England) Regulations 2015, Quality Standards, and Ofsted inspection frameworks
Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills
A commitment to trauma-informed, child-centred practice
