As the Registered Manager, you will play an instrumental role in building on the success of our established office. You will be a fundamental pillar in the overall smooth running of the operation and day-to-day business, working alongside our franchise owner and an excellent team of care coordinators, senior care givers, and care givers.

Responsibilities of the Registered Manager include:

• Provide leadership, management, and support to the team to ensure the best outcomes.
• Achieve high compliance with regulations, laws, quality standards, and policies, aiming for at least a “Good” CQC inspection.
• Ensure the health and safety of staff and clients by following relevant policies and procedures.
• Apply policies, procedures, and practices consistently, promoting business aims and values.
• Review and improve processes for effective and efficient service delivery.
• Recruit high-quality care assistants, provide excellent training, and maintain high retention rates.
• Ensure staff training and the delivery of high-quality care services to vulnerable people at home.
• Design effective scheduling so care assistants deliver care as planned.
• Manage quality assurance through scheduled spot checks, reviews, audits, and surveys.
• Improve assessments, risk assessments, and support plans to exceed customer expectations.
• Manage the emergency on-call system outside normal hours.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators and report statistics to the Director.
• Support the Director with ad hoc duties, including covering care duties when necessary.
• Contribute to sustainable business growth aligned with commercial targets.

Qualifications and Experience required:

• Hold or be working towards NVQ Level 4 (RMA) or QCF Level 5 in Social Care
• Understanding of CQC assessment criteria for Good and Outstanding scores
• Management experience in the care industry
• Experience in managing people
