Job summary

Bluebird Care Chester & Flintshire is seeking a Registered Manager to lead our domiciliary care service across Chester and Flintshire. You will oversee daily operations, safeguard quality standards and drive team performance to deliver outstanding person-centred care.

Reporting to the Directors, you will build strong relationships with customers, families and care staff, ensuring compliance with CIW and CQC while shaping a positive culture across the service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care.
• Level 5 qualification in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards).
• Strong understanding of CQC and/or CIW regulations.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle suitable for business use.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the service.
• Ensure compliance with CIW/CQC and company standards.
• Support, motivate and develop care and office teams.
• Manage quality assurance, audits and safeguarding.
• Oversee induction, training and staff development.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Directors, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of our domiciliary care service, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance and team performance.

You will work closely with our office team and care professionals to ensure customers receive safe, person-centred care while creating an environment where colleagues feel supported, valued and motivated.
