Job summary

Compass Associates Ltd is recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead a 60+ bed luxury nursing and residential care service in Cardiff and surrounding areas. The role requires inspiring leadership, a passion for exceptional resident care and strong commercial performance.

You will drive occupancy, manage budgets and develop teams, with a focus on quality, compliance and stakeholder relationships. A Level 5 Leadership qualification is preferred and a nursing background is not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Home Manager / Registered Manager.
• Experience managing a 60+ bed service or a similarly complex care environment.
• A strong background in nursing, residential, dementia or specialist care.
• A proven record of achieving and maintaining strong inspection outcomes.
• Excellent leadership and people-development skills.
• Strong commercial awareness, including occupancy and budget management.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• The confidence and resilience to lead from the front.
• Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification.

We are looking for an ambitious, inspirational and commercially aware Home Manager to lead a 60+ bed luxury nursing and residential care service, supporting residents across nursing, residential, dementia and specialist care.

The home has an excellent regulatory track record, strong occupancy, a stable workforce and an established reputation within the local community.

The Person We're Looking For

We are looking for a confident and inspirational care leader who understands that luxury care is about far more than meeting regulatory requirements.

You will ideally have:

• Experience managing a 60+ bed service or a similarly complex care environment.
• A strong background in nursing, residential, dementia or specialist care.
• A proven record of achieving and maintaining strong inspection outcomes.
• Excellent leadership and people-development skills.
• Strong commercial awareness, including occupancy and budget management.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• The confidence and resilience to lead from the front.
• Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification.

A nursing qualification is not essential for an experienced Registered Manager with the right leadership and operational background.
