Job summary

Right at Home Bromsgrove, Redditch & Droitwich is seeking a dependable Registered Manager to lead our care and office teams, ensuring high-quality homecare services for older people and vulnerable adults. You will ensure compliance with CQC standards, manage rotas, safety, training, and performance reporting, while driving growth within commercial targets.

The role requires NVQ 4 (RMA) or QCF 5 in Social Care, strong people leadership, and a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 4 (RMA) or QCF Level 5 in Social Care.
• In depth understanding of CQC assessment criteria for Good and Outstanding scores.
• Management experience of service provision in the care industry.
• Experience in managing people and teams.
• Right to Work full-time in the UK.
• UK/ EU driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, management and the highest level of support to the Team.
• Ownership of achieving the highest levels of compliance ensuring they achieve a minimum of a Good CQC inspection.
• Accountable for the Health & Safety of staff and clients; ensuring provision of safe working environments.
• Continued critical review of processes and practice.
• Ensure sufficient activity and strategy for the recruitment and retention of care assistants.
• Implementation of training and induction and maintain training records.
• Oversee staff rota and scheduling to safeguard cover of all care calls.
• Undertake Care Assistant and Client checks, service reviews, internal audits, annual surveys, risk assessments and support plans.
• Participate in on-call rota.
• Record Key Performance Indicators and report to the Director.
• To be a key figure in ensuring the business grows sustainably and within commercial targets.
