Job summary

SGS Care Ltd is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to lead a new home in Brackley, focused on young people with emotional and behavioral difficulties. This permanent position will involve setting up the home, recruiting staff, and ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations while making a significant difference in the lives of children.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent supervisory experience in a Registered Children's Home setting.
• Thorough understanding of regulations in a Children's Home setting.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Salary: £46,781 per annum plus £10,000 bonus
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent

Service: Children's Home
Service Users: Young People (YPs) with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

Qualifications Required:

• QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or working towards)

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience working in a Registered Children's Home setting in a supervisory role
• Thorough understanding of regulations and legislation within a Children's Home setting
• Ability to work closely with the Responsible Individual and key individuals within the strategic partnership
• Full UK Driving Licence

• Location: Brackley, Northamptonshire
• Type of YPs: Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
• Ofsted Rating: Brand new home, aiming for Good or Outstanding
