Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused environment for residents.
  • Manage and motivate the staff team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Build strong referral pathways and actively promote the service to increase occupancy.
  • Oversee assessments, admissions, and care planning to ensure smooth transitions into the home.
  • Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and governance requirements are met.
  • Work closely with external stakeholders including probation services, mental health teams, and local authorities.
  • Monitor and improve performance metrics, including outcomes for residents.
About You
  • At least 1 year’s experience as a CQC Registered Manager in a residential setting.
  • Experience managing a home specialising in substance misuse or, if not, in mental health services.
  • Strong understanding of the CQC framework and inspection process.
  • Demonstrable success in building referral networks and increasing service occupancy.
  • Experience supporting women with complex needs and histories of trauma.
  • Understanding of the criminal justice system and/or prison resettlement pathways (desirable).
  • Resilient, emotionally intelligent, and able to remain consistent under pressure.
  • Responsive and solution-focused, with excellent communication skills.
