Job summary

Avante Care & Support is seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead our 62-bed nursing and dementia home in Plumstead. You will oversee daily operations, drive high-quality, person-centred care and ensure regulatory compliance while developing the team and maintaining occupancy.

You will manage budgets, support a values-led culture and work closely with senior leaders to sustain service excellence and resident wellbeing across the home.

Qualifications

• Experience as Home Manager or deputy manager ready for next step.
• Strong clinical leadership with nursing and dementia care.
• RN qualification desirable, but not essential.
• Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, occupancy and performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible, compassionate leadership across the home.
• Lead and support a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care.
• Drive continuous improvement, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
