Job summary

Bridge Oak Care Homes is seeking a Registered Home Manager for Silverwood Care Home in Rotherham. This permanent, full-time role oversees daily operations, delivers high-quality person-centred care and ensures the home runs smoothly on all fronts.

You will lead a caring team, develop individual care plans and maintain compliance with statutory requirements, creating a warm, safe home where residents feel valued and supported.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day running of the home, standards of care, recruitment, training, team communications and financial matters.
• Assess residents’ needs and develop personalised care plans with involvement from relatives and professionals.
• Deliver high-quality personal care following care plans, ensuring a polite, warm and supportive approach.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements (HACCP, COSHH, Health & Safety, Care Standards Act).
• Monitor environmental health, infection control, building control, planning and safety; conduct regular risk assessments including fire checks.
• Maintain records (insurance, registrations, complaints, training, finances) and liaise with inspectors as needed.
