Job summary

Bridge Oak Care Homes is seeking a proactive Registered Home Manager for The Oakes Care Centre in Huddersfield. You’ll lead the day-to-day operations, ensure high-quality person-centred care, manage staff and recruitment, and maintain strict regulatory compliance to create a warm, safe home for residents.

You’ll develop personalised care plans, oversee records and medication management, and build strong relationships with residents, families and external agencies.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 5 or willing to work towards this.
• Previous experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the home, including care quality, recruitment and training.
• Assess residents' needs and formulate personalised care plans with relevant agencies.
• Ensure high standards of personal care with respectful communication.
• Comply with statutory requirements and maintain a safe environment.
• Oversee records, inspections and regulatory compliance within the home.
• Coordinate staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels.
