Job summary

Bridge Oak Care Homes is seeking a Registered Home Manager for Greenacres Care Home in Huddersfield. You will lead the day-to-day operations, ensure high standards of care, manage recruitment and training, and oversee compliance with regulatory requirements to maintain a safe and supportive home environment.

The role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and a passion for delivering person-centred care to older residents.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 5 (or willing to work towards this).
• Previous experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the home including standards of care, recruitment and training coordination, and financial matters.
• Recognise and assess residents' needs to formulate personalised care plans with relevant agencies and relatives.
• Ensure high levels of personal care and safe, respectful interactions following care plans.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements (HACCP, COSHH, Health and Safety, Care Standards Act).
• Monitor environmental health, infection control, building control, planning and health and safety, and carry out risk assessments including fire checks.
