Job summary

Leaders in Care are recruiting a Nursing Home Manager / Registered Home Manager for a confidential opportunity in the Rothwell area, south of Leeds. This 50-bed service has very low staff turnover, an established team and a strong clinical deputy working supernumerary.

As Registered Home Manager you will provide visible leadership across nursing, care and support teams, protect the home’s strengths and set clear priorities for continuous improvement towards an Outstanding rating.

Qualifications

• A current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Successful track record as a Nursing Home Manager, Registered Home Manager or Care Home Manager within a nursing setting.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, clinical governance and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Leading safe, compassionate and person-centred nursing and dementia care.
• Building on the home’s Good CQC rating, developing evidence-led improvements towards Outstanding.
• Maintaining robust clinical governance, including audits, safeguarding, medication management and incident learning.
• Working closely with your clinical Deputy Manager to maintain high standards and develop nursing practice.
• Supporting, retaining and developing the team through clear expectations, coaching and accountability.
• Building trusted relationships with residents, relatives, commissioners and healthcare professionals.
• Managing staffing, budgets and resources responsibly.
• Supporting occupancy through strong local relationships and a positive reputation for care.
