Job summary

Compass Associates are recruiting an experienced, nurse-qualified Registered Home Manager to lead a nursing and dementia care home in Wirral. You’ll take ownership of daily operations, ensure high standards of care, and maintain CQC compliance while developing the team and enhancing service quality.

With a strong clinical governance background and hands-on leadership, you’ll be visible in the home, drive improvements, and build external relationships to sustain outstanding outcomes for residents.

Qualifications

• Nurse-qualified home manager with active NMC pin and clinical governance.
• Experience managing an elderly care home providing nursing and dementia care.

The Role

Compass Associates are proud to be working alongside an established care provider who operate a portfolio of elderly care services across the UK. An opportunity has arisen in the business to join a care home located around the Wirral as a Registered Home Manager.

The service holds a strong reputation and a capable, long standing team. The provider are looking for a manager who can harness the foundations and identify ways to improve care delivery, monitor sustainability and take overall responsibility for the daily running of the home.

This role will suit a hands-on, supportive leader who likes to be visible within their home and work with their provider to make noticeable changes to the lives of their residents.

Candidate

I’m looking to speak with nurse qualified managers around the Wirral who are open to a new challenge with an exciting, growing care provider. You’ll come from a clinical background and be confident managing a team of clinicians, able to guide and support where required.

As a leader, you’ll be approachable and prioritize a collaborative approach, ensuring the team are empowered and can develop under your leadership.

An understanding of clinical governance, CQC requirements will be essential to success in this role. You’ll understand the importance of sustaining a solid care team, building up external relationships and have an attention to detail when it comes to compliance.

This isn't an opportunity for someone looking to take their first step into management. My client is looking for an established Home Manager who can bring experience, confidence and fresh ideas to an already successful service.
