Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in North Wales is seeking a Band 5 nurse to join the Outpatients Department. The post involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating evidenced-based nursing care for patients and families, in a busy clinical setting.
The role requires good communication, the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and an openness to further develop clinical skills and contribute to staff education and supervision.

The post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidenced-based nursing care, working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
Assist in the management and organisation of their clinical area and participating in the education, development and supervision of other staff members.
A well motivated, conscientious person is sought to work in a busy Outpatients Dept. The post will allow the individual to enhance their existing knowledge in a varied clinical setting. The Outpatients Dept is constantly evolving with developments and added opportunities. A good communicator is essential. An interest in Health Promotion is desirable.
A willingness to develop and practice new skills, and an ability to manage change is essential.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
