Job summary

Westgate Healthcare Ltd is recruiting a Registered General Nurse to join our dedicated team in the South East of England. You will deliver compassionate nursing care to our elderly residents, develop personalised care plans, and work closely with residents, families and the care team to ensure high standards.

We value leadership, teamwork and excellent communication as you support the Home Manager and uphold CQC and NMC guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration and PIN.
• Experience in elderly care essential.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Able to work 39 hours per week across day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
• Develop and implement personalised electronic care plans with residents and families.
• Support the Home Manager to apply policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with medical, social and other care workers as required.
• Ensure compliance with CQC guidelines and NMC code of conduct.
• Contribute to clinical governance within the care home.

About the role

About the role:

• 39 Hours per week
• 8am – 8pm. Day shifts available across Monday to Sunday
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met
• Develop and implement personalised electronic care plans in collaboration with residents, families and the wider care team
• Support the Home Manager to effectively implement policies and procedures and ensure they are upheld at all times
• Ensure that the residents have access to key medical, social and other care workers as required
• Contribute to the clinical governance within the care home
• Work in line with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines, NMC code of conduct and relevant legislation at all times
