Delphi Care Solutions Ltd in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to lead a children's home, ensuring exceptional care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance. You will coach your team, manage Ofsted readiness, and build strong relationships with local authorities to secure positive outcomes for young people.

This permanent, full-time role offers £55,000–£65,000 plus a performance bonus, supportive leadership from Responsible Individual, and ongoing

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience within children's residential care.
• Experience managing or supervising staff.
• Strong understanding of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
• Good knowledge of safeguarding legislation and SCCIF.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to achieve.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

The Role

About You

Essential

• Minimum two years' experience within children's residential care
• Experience managing or supervising staff

• Good knowledge of safeguarding legislation and SCCIF
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to achieve
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

• Previous Registered Manager experience
• Good or Outstanding Ofsted inspection history
• Experience supporting children who have experienced trauma
• Knowledge of therapeutic care models, DDP and PACE
• Experience managing safeguarding investigations
• Multi-agency working experience
