Job summary

Peak View in Buxton is recruiting an experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to lead the two-bed assessment home, overseeing trauma-informed, therapeutic care for young people. You will drive regulatory compliance, safeguarding practices and team development to deliver positive outcomes and emotional wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
• Experience managing a children's home or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Peak View children’s home, ensuring high standards of care.
• Ensure Ofsted readiness, safeguarding compliance and reporting.
• Develop and supervise care team, delivering trauma-informed, therapeutic support.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to drive service improvements.

Are you an experienced Registered Manager or Deputy Manager looking for your next challenge in children’s residential care?

We are recruiting for a Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a specialist two-bed assessment home in Buxton, supporting young people through trauma-informed and therapeutic care.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established provider and lead a service focused on delivering positive outcomes, stability and emotional wellbeing for children and young people. You will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding standards and Children’s Homes Quality Standards while leading and developing a dedicated care team.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience within a Children’s Residential Home
• Leadership or management experience within residential childcare
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
• Experience of Ofsted inspections
• Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge
• Full UK Driving Licence
