Job summary

Domus Recruitment is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead an elderly nursing home in the UK. You will work with the Regional Manager and leadership team to ensure high-quality, person-centred care, regulatory compliance and strong governance.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Registered Manager within an elderly nursing home or similar care environment.
Proven experience leading and managing care services.
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance and quality standards.
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Experience managing, supporting and motivating care teams.
Commercial awareness with understanding of occupancy, fees and staffing performance.
Experience working in services requiring improvement would be advantageous.
A passion for delivering outstanding, person-centred care.

Responsibilities

Provide strong leadership and direction to the home, creating a positive and accountable team culture.
Lead, support and motivate the management team, including Clinical Leads, Team Leaders and Nurses.
Ensure the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care for all residents.
Maintain strong standards of compliance, governance and regulatory requirements.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
Ensure safeguarding concerns, complaints and incidents are managed professionally and effectively.
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Support financial performance through effective management of fees, staffing costs and operational budgets.
Work collaboratively with regional support teams to deliver organisational objectives.
