Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced Interim Class 2B+ Building Control Surveyor for Gloucestershire. This 6-month initial contract offers a hybrid role with site inspections and home-based work.

You will carry out site inspections (3 days per week), assess compliance with Building Regulations, perform plan checking and provide technical advice, while liaising with applicants, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure works meet statutory and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be Class 2B+ registered with the BSR.
• Proven experience within Building Control.
• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and legislation.
• Full UK driving licence (due to site visits).

Up to £60 per hour

We are currently seeking an experienced Class 2B+ Building Control Surveyor for an interim opportunity based in Gloucestershire. This is an initial 6-month contract, with a strong view to extension due to ongoing workload.

The Role

This is a hybrid role offering a balanced mix of site and home-based work:

• 3 days per week carrying out site inspections
• Opportunity to move to full-time working depending on service needs
