Job summary

Frank Rogers Building Contractors are expanding our social housing operations across the Midlands and East of England, seeking reliable regional teams of experienced Multi-Skilled Void Operatives to support an ongoing programme of works.

Typical tasks include joinery repairs, kitchen installations, basic plumbing, plastering, tiling and general property maintenance. Travel within the region is required, with occasional longer journeys as workloads demand.

Qualifications

• Strong multi-trade experience across joinery, plumbing and general property maintenance.
• Experience in social housing or void properties is preferred.
• Own van and full UK driving licence are required.
• Willingness to travel regionally within Midlands and surrounding areas.
• CSCS or trade qualifications where applicable, plus health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Carry out joinery repairs, doors, frames, locks and ironmongery.
• Kitchen repairs and installations.
• Basic plumbing and sanitary repairs.
• Patch plastering and making good.
• Wall and floor tiling; carpentry tasks.
• General property repairs and maintenance.
• Provide clear photographs before, during and after works.
• Complete works from void-property defect sheets.
