Job summary

Nuffield Health in the North & Scotland region is seeking a Technical Services Manager to lead planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites. You will drive performance, ensure statutory and health & safety compliance, and provide technical leadership to operational teams.

You will manage external contractors, support capital projects and lifecycle refurbishments, carry out site audits and surveys, and contribute to budget management and energy efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications

• Recognised mechanical or electrical qualification.
• Strong M&E knowledge and facilities management experience.
• Proven experience managing multiple sites across a regional portfolio.
• Knowledge of compliance planned maintenance and contractor management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Teams and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance programmes.
• Ensure statutory and health & safety compliance across all sites.
• Manage external contractors and service partners, driving performance and value for money.
• Support capital planning, lifecycle replacement and refurbishment projects.
• Carry out site audits, condition surveys and quality inspections.
• Provide technical expertise and support to operational teams and senior leaders.
• Support budget management and energy efficiency initiatives.
