MSC Industrial Supply Co. is seeking a Regional Technical Manager for the Northern Region.

You will lead the Applications Engineers and Technical Sales teams, developing and guiding them to deliver engineering solutions and provide exceptional technical support to customers, driving growth across key accounts and regional areas in metalworking. You will oversee teams to fulfil contractual commitments, build a high-performing culture, manage pipelines for major customers, recruit and develop

Qualifications

Proven experience leading Applications Engineering and Technical Sales teams.
Technical expertise in CNC and metalworking processes.
Strong leadership and people-management skills.
Excellent communication with senior stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities

Oversee Applications Engineers to meet contractual commitments for key and national customers.
Lead regional Technical Sales Team to address technical inquiries and run tool trials.
Foster a high-performance culture with clear goals and continuous improvement.
Support senior stakeholders and large accounts, managing pipelines and value delivery.
Coach engineers to grow capabilities and maintain a healthy project pipeline.
Collaborate with Territory Sales, Marketing, Product Management to ensure seamless customer support.
