Job description

An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Regional Support Manager to oversee the operations and ensure the highest standards of care across various care homes within the North West region. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

You will be responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, implementing policies and procedures, and supporting and mentoring staff to deliver outstanding care to our residents.

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin and have proven experience in managing a care home or a similar healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide effective leadership and management, including recruiting suitable personnel for key roles and ensuring they are trained to perform their duties. Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that aligns with the company’s vision and values.
  2. Recruit, train, and mentor care home managers and staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  3. Monitor and manage the financial and business performance of the homes, including budgeting, financial reporting, and business development. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
  4. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Implement action plans to maintain compliance and manage risks.
  5. Maintain and enhance the quality of care and environment provided to residents. Monitor and evaluate care delivery processes and outcomes, and implement improvements as needed. Ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents.
  6. Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Address and resolve concerns or issues promptly.
  7. Implement performance monitoring and reporting systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and outcomes.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, compliance, and regulatory requirements in the care home industry.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of best practices in quality care and environment for elderly residents.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary and Benefits:

The successful Regional Support Manager will receive an excellent salary of £58,000 per annum. This is a permanent full-time role, working 40 hours a week from 9am to 5pm. In return, you will receive the following benefits:
