An established industry player seeks a Regional SHE Manager to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across various construction projects. Providing competent advice and support to our operational and administration teams, the Regional SHE Manager will implement and take responsibility for all aspects of SHE on our contracts that cover all construction and non-construction related activities within the Branch. You will monitor compliance with policy, procedures & systems and provide support to all staff. Reporting non-compliance to managers and instilling a strong health and safety culture within both staff and subcontractors.
You will be expected to meet set KPI’s including completing a range of compliance audits to ensure each branch remains fully compliant. Following all audits, you will produce reports, detailing findings and appropriate actions, and liaise with Branch Managers to resolve these.
You will be an integral member of the management team, developing good working relationships with Clients and all staff members alike. The purpose is to deliver a high-quality SHE support service which monitors compliance with legislation, policy, procedures, and systems.
The successful Regional SHE Manager will be expected to deliver formal training to the wider team and business. A Level 3 qualification in training would be an advantage but is not essential, as we can provide this as part of your personal development.
The role requires the ability to communicate well at all levels within the Group and with subcontractors. You will be involved with initiatives to drive our SHE strategy forward. There is a significant demand for regular travel to support the field-based teams throughout the London and South area in all matters of SHE compliance.
