Job summary
Alexander James Recruiting are seeking an experienced managerial professional in Agriculture/Construction or capital equipment to join as Service Manager for a large supplier of construction and agricultural machinery. Based in West Sussex, you will take full responsibility for the productivity and effectiveness of the service engineers and manage the service department across the region.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will motivate the engineering workforce, plan resources and targets,
Qualifications
- Experience in Agriculture or Construction is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in other capital equipment with a technical slant and a strong customer focus.
- Able to communicate at board level and relate well to engineers and customers.
Responsibilities
- Motivate the engineering workforce across the region through planning and resource management.
- Work to region targets and take responsibility for customer relations and profitability.
- Communicate effectively with clients and engineers; manage expectations.
- Ensure smooth running of the service department across the region.
