Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Regional Care Assistant to deliver warm, empathetic care across a 20-mile radius. You will monitor care delivery, contribute to personalised care planning and record observations such as temperature and blood pressure.

You will also provide companionship and ensure residents receive meaningful one-to-one time on every shift, with travel across the area requiring your own car or access to one.

Qualifications

• Background in care is important for the role.
• Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care would be useful.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the delivery of care when on duty.
• Contribute to person-centred care planning for residents.
• Record observations such as temperature and blood pressure.
• Provide support and companionship to residents.
• Ensure residents receive meaningful one-to-one time on every shift.
