Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking Security Guards to support a new DWP project across multiple sites, including Wisbech. The role offers an hourly rate of £13.45 and requires a full UK driving licence along with security experience.

You will travel to potential sites within the region and ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors. Typical duties include patrolling, incident reporting, emergency response, and coordination with local police or EMS as needed, while upholding Mitie

Qualifications

• Previous Security Experience
• Licence required DS Licence Preferred
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors and property.
• Patrol the premises regularly to identify potential security threats.
• Respond effectively to emergencies or suspicious situations.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Provide a high level of customer service and assist staff and visitors in security matters.
• Conduct routine security checks and submit incident reports.
• Adhere to Mitie and DWP security policies and procedures.
